Immigration Advice for foreigners coming
to South Africa
This project is the result of the activities of
the Company for Immigration, a non-profit help service for immigrants
which was founded in South Africa in 1949 and incorporated into
AfriForum in 2006.
Immigration is essential for the economic growth
of South Africa. Foreign nationals who wish to settle in South Africa
can obtain free information from us about the relocation process,
immigration documentation, circumstances and cost of living in the
country.
You are most welcome to contact the Immigration
Assistance and Advice Bureau at alana@afriforum.co.za.
In your email please mention your email address, the topic on which
you would like advice, of which country/countries you are a citizen
and whether you have been to South Africa before. If you have been
here previously, also mention when that was and whether you were
in South Africa as a tourist, temporary resident, permanent resident
or citizen.
You can download the latest issue of IMFO, our
free brochure about life and the cost of living in South Africa
here. It comprises approximately 17 A4 pages.
